They are successful in their attempt and arrive back to Earth, but not without losing two crew members. Along the way they manage to make contact with a new alien race known as The Tintorians, who offer them refuge in their galaxy. However, they must take part in a series of challenges; only one member can remain at the end. Scott manages to win all of the challenges and they are accepted into a hibernation by a computer that is in charge of a huge spaceship. When they wake up, they find that the ship is in fact a spaceship graveyard, which puts them in jeopardy once again. The crew eventually discovers that they have been tricked by Truman. They must fight for their lives and destroy the ship in order to save themselves from certain death.
